4 SAS, Institute of Medical Science Khammam and its associated SAS General Hospital are promoted by Syed Abbas &Sons charitable Trust, a charitable trust registered under the Indian Trust Act established in 2001 with register No 27/2001.

4 "Syed Abbas & Sons Charitable Trust" proposes to establish its "S.A.S Institute of Medical Science" a proposed new Medical College with 100 annual admissions along with its associated S.A.S General Hospital with 500 beds.

4 The Trust also proposes to set up a 500 bedded teaching hospital as well as a modern health care service center with facilities using latest technologies. The proposed hospital will have advanced facilities in diagnostic procedures, clinical treatment, surgical & therapeutic procedures providing high quality medical services to the Muslims and general public at large.

4 For this purpose, an extent of 36 acres of land is owned and possessed by the trust in Khammam, Andhra Pradesh, and transferred in the name of the Trust. The project is coming up at a very opportune time when the need for the trained medical professionals and nurses are being felt both in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India and abroad. Also, the demand for modern treatment facilities and quality hospital beds are increased day- by- day and constantly. The land cost at present is estimated is approximately Rs.31.92 corers including land development cost .,i.e.,1596 lakhs for the land cost and 1376 lakhs for the land development cost totaling 3192 lakhs i.e.,31.92 corers.

The total project cost for the Medical College is estimated approximately At Rs 5245 lakhs, .i.e,.52.45 corers. The combined project cost of Rs.194.55 corers excluding the land cost and land development.
